4 more weeks of school left then summer fun can start!! I can not wait to be able to spend every day with Kensley. We have so many things lined up so far.....swim lessons, gymnastics, play dates with our long lost friends! She has changed so much over the past few weeks. She is talking a whole lot more, pointing out air planes every time she sees one! It is so funny to hear her try to carry on a conversation with someone. She has also learned the word "mine" and "no" and she loves to use them all the time! It is so hard not to get mad at her when she tells us no, but its so darn cute! I'm sure in a few years I wont think its cute anymore. She also has grown a love for water. She has always liked her bath time but now she wants to play in the sprinkler or with the water hose all the time. Our neighbor set up his sprinkler last night and she had such a good time. It is so fun watching her play with the older kids. I bet she will love swim lessons. Kensley is also running which is too cute! She waddles and most of the time trips her self. Her hair is finally coming in too, but still only two teeth.
Mother's Day was this past Sunday and it was so nice. I am so lucky to be able to celebrate this day being the mom. Ryan took me to Red Lobster which is a huge deal because he is allergic to shell fish. I got the ultimate feast and ate every bit of it. Then we went and walked around Fire Wheel Town Square. It was nice to be alone...I felt kinda guilty because it was mother's day weekend but we were able to spend all day with Kensley on Sunday. I'll be sure to update in June once the fun has begun.....:)

Sunny Days
It's finally getting warm! I love the warm weather. It is so much to fun to take Kensley outside and play after school with all her neighborhood friends. She tries so hard to do what they do.
This past weekend I took 52 of my 7th graders to the Snake Farm and Sea World. We had such a good time. I have always wanted to go to the Snake Farm but never got the chance. They have so much more than just snakes! Sea World was great too. The trainers at Shamu stadium gave us a little show which was neat. The kids loved it. We had one girl get the stomach bug and was throwing up all night so I was not able to sleep because I was up with her all night.
Now on to Kensley...... Friday we are taking her to get her blood drawn to make sure her immune system is working properly. She keeps getting high fevers every two weeks. Dr Dhoot wants to check to make sure everything is ok. We thought about pulling her out of daycare but we have paid in advance so we would be out a lot of money. They are going to work with us when she is sick so that will be nice. It seems that she is out more than she is there!
8 more weeks till summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to put her in gymnastics and swim lessons this summer. The gymnastics class is a mommy and me class so it will be fun to be out there with her. Too bad I cant do anything any more because of my arm :(
Happy Aril Fools day!

Ok, so this time has been longer than the last... I'm trying to get back into the groove!
So i know....it has been a while. Julie told me I need to write more often so I am giving it another shot. We had a GREAT weekend. My best friend Julie and her husband Steven have been trying to adopt for a little over 6 months. They had a failed placement of a little boy 2 weeks ago and we were all so devastated. I can't even imagine the pain they were feeling. I had felt like a piece of my heart was ripped out. It was almost like a death. With many prayers God blessed Julie and Steven with a 6 week old baby girl on Friday February 26th. Chloe Marie Saal was placed into their arms and I don't think she will ever be let go! There is so much love in that family and so much joy that it brings tears to my eyes just watching them interact. They are complete. I can't wait to watch Chloe grow up and see the love her parents have for her. I really hope her and Kensley can become as close as Julie and I are and were growing up. Our childhood was the best. I hate that we live so far away from each other. It's hard being away from her because I feel like we grow a little bit apart, but I know as soon as we reconnect things are right back to where they belong. I love her so much :) and now little Chloe is here so we have so much more in common. Summers will be fun getting the girls together and hopefully in the future we can take little girl trips!

As far as Kensley goes......she is growing and learning so much. She started walking at 12months and is trying to run now. It is so cute. I love coming home from work and playing with her. She is a little person now! We play peek a boo and shape sorters together. She squeezes me when she doesn't want me to leave. I love when she holds on to me so tight so no one can take her away. Is it wrong that I long for the day when she crawls up in bed with us and snuggles next to me? It's like I can't get enough of her. She had tubes put in a few weeks ago and they seem to be working pretty well. I just hope this keeps the sick appointments down to a minimum.
Off to bed.....hopefully this stays updated!!
